Originally from Richmond, Arthur Shaheen earned his law degree from the University of Richmond in 1988. Since that time, he has engaged in a general practice, both civil and criminal, with an emphasis on real estate law and closings. Arthur has decided to continue to practice real estate law (but not closings) and, where the circumstances allow, offer his services as a licensed real estate agent. Arthur says he enjoys the process of meeting with new and existing friends and sharing his knowledge and experience. “I like to think of myself as a navigator,” Arthur says.

“The current real estate market has become more challenging for buyers and sellers. I enjoy educating. My background enables me to provide a variety of important professional perspectives so that good decisions can be made. Arthur is a former member and past president of the Blacksburg Rotary Club, a current member of the New River Home Builder’s Association, the Virginia State Bar Real Estate Property Section, the New River Valley Association of Realtors, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers’ Association.
